Happy Independence Day Nigeria

Nigeria's Independence Day today, October 1st, 2022 is more than a celebration rather it's a day of reflection for our dear country.

The @girlscountinitiative team spent an amazing time with the children at an orphanage in Ibadan, Oyo State, sharing with them the joy of independence and reflecting on quite a lot of responses from the children on the importance of independence and they crave and wish for something great for themselves and the country.

Our yearly Love and Skill December project for orphans is around the corner and we will be sending you details on how you can be involved in sharing love and happiness with children at different orphanages soon.

We are so happy we made today fruitful and made the children at the orphanage happy today.
